Club Basketball

The Red Storm Boys and Girls Basketball Program at Sports Outreach Northwest is designed to develop young athletes both on and off the court. Through focused skill training, team play, and positive coaching, players improve in fundamentals like dribbling, passing, shooting, and game strategy. Beyond athletics, the program emphasizes learning about the gospel through team chapels within a Christ-centered environment. Coaches mentor players, modeling integrity and perseverance, while providing opportunities to hear and respond to the gospel. The Red Storm program is more than basketball—it’s a community where youth grow in skill and confidence.

Coach Nate serves as one of our boys’ team coaches, and Coach Eric leads both boys’ and girls’ teams. Reagan Day joins the staff as our girls’ middle school coach, with Tailya McKelvey assisting. Each season, the coaching team is strengthened by additional qualified coaches, ensuring a structured, well-supported experience for every athlete.

Our staff shares a genuine passion for coaching and mentoring young athletes. While we are committed to developing strong basketball fundamentals, we are equally focused on building teamwork, confidence, character, and creating a positive, encouraging environment where every player can thrive.
