Get Connected
Each year, SONW offers meaningful gatherings that build community and deepen our mission impact. Our Coaches Study equips leaders with biblical encouragement and practical tools for coaching with purpose. The annual Raft Trip provides a fun, high-energy day on the river where athletes build friendships and hear the hope of the gospel. Our Advance BBQ brings supporters together for great food, powerful testimonies, and a shared vision for reaching the sports community with Christ.
COACHES STUDY
We believe Christian coaches can have a profound impact on the lives of young athletes for the glorious gospel as they demonstrate Christ-like character on their teams and in the community. As a result, SONW seeks to equip and encourage coaches to grow in their in knowledge and application of God's Word through verse by verse teaching by trained Bible teachers.

RAFT TRIP
Join us for a fun and unforgettable day on the river! Our SONW Raft Trip gives youth a chance to experience adventure, build friendships, and hear a clear presentation of the gospel. Skilled guides lead each raft, making it a safe and exciting outing for all. It’s one of our most anticipated summer events—full of laughter, getting wet, and a lot of fun
ADVANCE BBQ
Enjoy a great meal, hear highlights from our 2026 outreaches and take part in an exciting live auction. This year’s theme, Impacting the Sports Community, will showcase powerful testimonies of how the gospel is transforming lives through sports.
Together, these events strengthen our mission, unite our community, and help us continue proclaiming the life-changing message of Jesus through the medium of sports.
