What to Expect
At our clinics, camps, and skills training sessions, athletes can expect a fun, positive environment focused on developing strong fundamentals, building confidence, and encouraging teamwork. Each event includes age-appropriate drills, clear instruction, and supportive coaching that helps every athlete grow—whether they’re brand new to the sport or looking to take the next step.
Parents and guardians can expect a safe, welcoming environment where communication, trust, and encouragement are priorities. Our coaches and staff work hard to create an atmosphere where families feel comfortable staying to watch if they desire. From check-in to pick-up, we want every parent to know their child is valued, cared for, and supported.
Each outreach includes a short gospel message.

The SONW basketball program offers a dynamic and growing lineup of clinics, camps, and skills training sessions designed to help athletes develop strong fundamentals and build confidence. In 2026, these opportunities will be available in Hillsboro, OR, Salem, OR, and Meridian, ID, allowing even more families to get involved. Our clinics are always free, providing an accessible entry point for new and returning players. All camps and skills training sessions are intentionally priced to be affordable, ensuring every athlete has the chance to learn, grow, and experience a positive sports environment.
Participants will also receive a
free SONW T-shirt as a fun bonus and reminder of their experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does SONW provide basketballs and equipment?
We provide the balls and all other equipment.
When can my player check in for an clinic, camp or skills training?
Players can check in 15 minutes before the event start time.
Can parents/guardians stay and watch?
Yes, parents/guardians are welcome to stay, but we ask that they remain off to the side to avoid interfering with the coaches.
What if I need to cancel?
A full refund will be given up to three days before the camp or training session. No refunds will be issued after that to cover our costs.
